Coach Jennifer is a rockstar.
At 46 I’m not old I just don’t recover as awesome as when I was 25; add to that a big dose of work travel, family responsibilities, life complications, and before you know it that training plan is going nowhere fast (just like me.)
Last May I finally decided to enlist the help of a coach to get through my summer cycling goals while maintaining a life. I’ve been in/around the biz for a long time and have seen some pretty amazing sports science along the way so my expectations were high.
Swimming one day at TCCC Masters, I was struggling with the laps. Coach Jen came over and gave me a tip. “Try this ….” so I did. Immediately the laps went better. She had quickly and astutely observed I was not breathing efficiently so gave me a trick to emphasize better breathing naturally (that’s just one of the things an amazing coach does - they observe what you need help with and give you the tools to improve.) I started with Coach Jennifer Comfort the next week.
Since then, Jen has guided me through the summer with a dynamic, fluid training plan that has steadily upped my fitness while accommodating crazy, unexpected life circumstances. Her program helped me beat my personal RAMROD time goal by more than an hour.

Coach Jen can train all levels of athletes. While she has the ability to train and improve performances in elite athletes, she also coaches and trains beginners like me. I learned to swim at almost 50 years old. I never thought I would be swimming laps, diving off blocks and doing flip turns. Coach Jen knew I could. One particular lesson comes to mind. I was afraid to flip turn near the ladder. I didn’t want to do it. I was afraid of hitting the ladder. Coach Jen took off her shoes, rolled up her pants and climbed onto the ladder. She made it clear she was there to protect me and watch me succeed. Who could say no to that? I didn’t!
I started training with Jen last year! My only previous exposure was some timed workouts but nothing really detailed. I love the training peaks app and it keeping me accountable and I love the flexibility Jen offers especially since I travel so much. I think the best part is the transformation in a small amount of time. I’ve always been self conscious and this has really helped me to believe in myself and my abilities and look towards a goal. And helped me have positivity about my strength and my body. For me my goals aren’t just sport related they are about my happiness and feeling confident in my body and the plan helps me feel confident in my bodies ability. I noticed improvement in less than two weeks so for me that’s huge. Highly recommend Jen!! ❤️❤️❤️
